This cozy, warming Christmas decor trend strikes a perfect balance between modern and rustic giving a comforting and welcoming style that so many love including myself.  Adding elements of a little vintage/antique to the blend .  And there's certainly nothing wrong with that.  

What are some of the top trending ideas?

1.  Cow Bells- a top trending accent for sure.  Whether you are adding to a wreath, your garland on the mantle or your staircase, cow bells will give you that rustic farmhouse feel.

2.  Neutral Colors- Using browns and creams in your holiday decor will give you a cozy feel.  Whether you're using solid knitted, faux fir or plaid stockings- keep the colors earthy.  Ornaments,  vases of greens, crocks, baskets in the earthy tones are the perfect accent pieces to use to decorate.  A simple solid throw,  pines, or birch logs in a basket is very popular.  Use of wood textured decorations as well adds to the inviting warmth such as bowls, tables, pinecones or logs.  Affordable ornaments, vases at Walmart, Target and TJ Maxx/Marshall's this season.

3.  Realistic greenery- garlands, wreaths and sprays.  I think if I could have pine, cedar or junipter branches out all year, I would.  I just love the look and the warmth it gives when added to crocks, jars, vases, used on shelves, mantles, entranceways.  A little here, a little there...
