Late to the party!

Hope you're enjoying Spring!  Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Moms!

So sorry, it's been a long time since my last post.  So much happening on the home front. Some of you may know, my daughter got engaged right before Christmas.  A happy time for sure... before making any wedding plans, they decided they wanted to buy a home.  Needless to say, with prices and availability, their search was frustrating for a young couple.  So..... my husband and I stepped in, turned over a piece of land we owned across the street from us and presto... A house is being built.  It helps my hubby is a contractor, but so much goes into the planning, pricing, permitting, etc.  I am very excited for them and can't wait to help her decorate!! 

Starting to plant my flowers around the yard- I was spoiled for Mother's Day, lilacs are blooming and getting ready for the veggie garden.
